Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technologies WLL in Manama, Bahrain, seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to design, development and testing of innovative electrical systems. You will apply engineering principles across Hitachi product lines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in circuit design, CAD tools, simulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical design and development in a relevant industry (power systems, industrial automation, automotive electronics).
• Strong understanding of circuit theory, electromagnetics and control systems.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD software (Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle).
• Experience with SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink.
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators and components.
• Knowledge of safety standards (UL, CE) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and analyze electrical circuits, power systems, and control systems for new and existing products.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and component specs.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct testing, debugging and validation of electrical hardware and integrated systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, production and field deployment.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance product capabilities.
