Location:

  • Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree/ Diploma in relevant in Neurodiagnostic Technology (minimum of two years course duration)

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years

License:

  • Must have a Valid: NHRA license as an EEG Technician (Electroencephalogram technician)
  • Must have a home country license and a current country of licensure with good standing as EEG technician
Role and Responsibilities
  • Gather the patient's medical history.
  • Explain EEG procedures and prepare the patient for the procedure.
  • Monitor the patient's status and note any abnormalities.
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain electroencephalograph machines.
  • Obtain medical histories of patients' neurological disorders.
  • Apply electrodes to patients and work with patients diagnosed with epilepsy.
  • Acquire, review, and present selected data to the clinical neurophysiologist.
  • Order supplies, such as collodion, electrodes, acetone, EEG paper, ink and pens.
  • Performs all aspects of EEG recordings according to departmental policy.
  • Assists the Neurologist in performing the procedures.
