Job description

As a Dietitian you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and creating personalized meal plans for clients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. You will work closely with clients to assess their dietary needs and provide education on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to assess their nutritional needs
• Create personalized meal plans based on clients' health goals, dietary restrictions and preferences
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up with clients to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans
• Educate clients on the importance of a balanced diet and healthy eating habits
• Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and nurses to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate records of client consultations and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• Certified Dietitian or Nutritionist preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines and food science
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in using nutrition software or apps for creating meal plans, e.g., MyFitnessPal
