Job summary

A leading banking institution in Bahrain is seeking an experienced corporate banking professional to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate customers. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking and possess a minimum of 7 years of corporate banking experience. Familiarity with the Bahraini market is essential, and GCC experience is considered a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new corporate customers within the agreed target market.
  • Manage assigned corporate banking portfolio including conducting annual reviews.
  • Follow-up past dues to ensure quality of the managed portfolio.
  • Monitor and enhance utilization of approved limits.
  • Ensure facility documentation compliance.
  • Monitor covenants compliance and periodic status reports.
  • Manage syndicated facilities.
  • Supervise support staff for smooth processing.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identify and onboard new corporate customers within the agreed target market.
  • Manage assigned corporate banking portfolio including conducting annual reviews with a view to control risks, grow share of wallet, and cross sell treasury and deposits opportunities.
  • Follow-up past dues to ensure the quality of the managed portfolio and propose solutions for corporates facing challenges to ensure quality of the risk assets.
  • Monitor and enhance utilization of approved limits.
  • Ensure facility documentation compliance with approval terms and conditions.
  • Monitor covenants compliance, security coverage and periodic status reports of financed projects.
  • Manage syndicated facilities.
  • Supervise the work of support staff to ensure smooth processing of customers transactions and KYC compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Banking.
  • Knowledge of credit and financial analysis as well feasibility studies and projections review.
  • Minimum corporate banking experience of 7 years.
  • Experience in the Bahraini market. GCC experience is a plus.
