Job summary

Abroad Work is seeking an on-site Land Surveyor in Muharraq, Bahrain, on a contract basis. The role involves measuring, mapping, and reporting survey data, with supervision by engineers and architects to ensure accuracy. Accommodation will be provided as part of the package.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and have at least three years of field experience, with proficiency in total stations, GPS, and laser scanners. Strong math skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Land Surveyor.
• Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques.
• Excellent mathematical skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys to gather data on boundaries, topography, and existing structures.
• Use surveying equipment to measure distances, angles, elevations, and contours.
• Analyze survey data to create maps, plots, and reports.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy of survey results.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide progress updates.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations during surveys.
