Job summary

Flyper is seeking a skilled Cashier for a contract position in Al-Malikiyah to handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service. You will maintain a clean checkout area and balance the cash drawer at shift end, while processing transactions and supporting store goals.

The role requires proven cashier experience, strong math and communication skills, and attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with accounting certification as a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or relevant field is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide them with prompt service
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
• Accept payments in various forms such as cash, credit cards, vouchers, and gift cards
• Issue receipts, change, and refunds as necessary
• Ensure all products are properly scanned and priced before finalizing transactions
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it at the end of each shift
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
