Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a Contract Carpenter to read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and install structures such as floors and ceilings in Manama, Bahrain. The role requires using hand and power tools, following safety procedures, and maintaining an organized work area.

The position is contract-based with relocation options discussed and a competitive salary. Candidates should have at least 2 years of carpentry experience, strong attention to detail, and solid teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a carpenter.
• Able to read blueprints and follow technical specifications.
• Proficient in using various carpentry tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1800$.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required and methods of installation
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, measuring tapes, or marking gauges
• Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
• Install structures such as floors, ceilings, roofs, or stairs using carpentry tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures when working with sharp tools or operating heavy machinery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
