A healthcare provider in Bahrain seeks an experienced Consultant - General Surgeon to examine patients, review medical histories, and perform surgical procedures while adhering to ethical protocols. The role requires a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, a valid NHRA Medical License, and 8 to 10 years of surgical experience. Ideal candidates will maintain patient dignity and oversee pre and post-surgery treatments.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure in good standing.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
  • 5 years of residency training in General Surgery
  • Fellowship or its equivalent such as Arab Board/Indian Board.

Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years

License:

  • Valid NHRA Medical License as Consultant (for Candidates within the Kingdom of Bahrain)
  • For candidates applying from outside of the Kingdom of Bahrain - should be eligible to have a medical license as per the NHRA PQR
  • Current licensure in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Examining patients and making diagnoses to determine the need for surgery.
  • Reviewing patients' medical history and planning the best procedure for treatment.
  • Performing surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease, deformities, and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols.
  • Prescribing preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures.
  • Overseeing all treatments prior to and post-surgery, and identifying associated risks.
  • Maintaining the highest regard for patient dignity.
