Job summary

NovaMart Procurement is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Muharraq, Bahrain, to oversee all phases of construction projects. The role requires a civil engineering background, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will develop schedules and budgets, manage teams including contractors and vendors, ensure code compliance and safety, and report progress to upper management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Supervise and manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
• Monitor progress of construction activities and make necessary adjustments to meet project objectives
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns
• Conduct site visits to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications
• Prepare progress reports for upper management
