This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring robust accounting and reporting across the region, maintaining a strong control environment, and delivering high-quality financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Based at theARIME Head Office in Bahrain, thistwo-year assignmentoffers a unique opportunity to work closely with theCEO ARIME/ Global COO, overseeing the production and analysis of financial information for both general ledgers and group consolidated financial statements. The role also includes leadership and development of the finance control team, ensuring excellence in financial governance and reporting.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Lead ARI Finance across the ARIME group, developing local and international finance capability, securing strong talent, and ensuring succession planning.
  • Partner with the ARI CEO and Executive Team on strategy, shareholder value, and corporate development.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of corporate strategy, driving financial planning and forecasting to support business growth.
  • Build strong relationships with regional management, finance heads, and business leaders to foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the Finance and Financial Control teams to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • Ensure the central Finance function provides adequate control and optimised reporting across the organisation.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability building within the finance function.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality financial and management reporting, including monthly management packs, KPI dashboards, and commercial performance analysis.
  • Lead the preparation of ARIME consolidated Group financial statements and annual report production.
  • Manage the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring robust review and control procedures.
  • Consolidate Group budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow statements.
  • Ensure strong governance and control environment across ARIME, including internal controls, audit relationships, and risk management.
  • Steward the ARIME group risk register and ensure compliance with group policies and practices.
