Cashier

Job Title: Cashier - Part Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
• Keep track of all sales transactions and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and policies to provide accurate information to customers
• Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and security

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle money
• Strong communication skills in order to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of 1600$ per month.
