Job summary

Work standard is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. The role involves constructing and repairing wooden structures, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality workmanship on every project.

You will measure, cut, shape, assemble and install components, work with hand and power tools, and follow safety procedures. English communication is required; Arabic is a plus. Salary is $1,400 per month with visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately.
• Good understanding of different types of wood and their properties.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
