Job summary

A leading audit and assurance firm in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to manage audits for diverse clients. Responsibilities include leading teams, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of audit experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP. CA or ACCA qualification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in audit & assurance.
  • Experience within financial services or insurance is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning and execution.

Job Title: Auditor - Audit & Assurance

Grant ThorntonAbdulaalis seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Seniorto join our dynamic team. As a Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading and managing the audit process for a variety of clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and communicate any potential risks or issues to the audit team and clients
  • Train and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking and proposal writing
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience within financial services and insurance companies will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in audit & assurance, preferably in a reputed public accounting firm
  • CA or ACCA qualification will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
