Introduction
Gulf University's College of Law is seeking a second Assistant Professor in Public Law to strengthen its faculty. This position focuses on International Public Law and Human Rights Law.
Expected Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Public Law, International Law, or a closely related legal field.
- Published research in international law or human rights.
Expected Experience
- University-level teaching experience in law.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Experience with international legal organizations or NGOs.
- Knowledge of GCC legal frameworks.
Required Skills
- Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to teach across international and public law subjects.
- Participation in international conferences and research collaborations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach courses in International Public Law, Human Rights Law, and related subjects.
- Conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications.Supervise student research and graduation projects.
- Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance activities.
- Represent the college in academic conferences and seminars.
- Contribute to community outreach and legal awareness programs.
