Job description

Our accountants, with a thorough knowledge of applicable accounting standards and local regulatory requirements, provide flexible, cost-effective and specialised services – across administration, finance functions and non-audit advisory – to respond to client needs, enabling businesses to devote key resources to core business matters. Typical services that AS provides include book-keeping and accounting; seconding accountants; outsourcing of payroll services; drafting accounting policies and procedures; administering employee incentive schemes; verifying fixed assets (including inventory counts); validating ECL models; developing finance skills; reviewing internal financial controls; and setting up accounting system and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Project delivery: Build and maintain a sound understanding of technical aspects and concepts
• Presentation and reporting: Prepare/deliver high-quality client deliverables
• Technical knowledge: Maintain a basic knowledge of applicable standards and relevant leading practice

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/commerce from a reputable university or educational institution
• Professional qualification (such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CMA)

Skills:

• Experience with accounting systems, such as Sage50, Tally, MS Dynamics or SAP preferred
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence/drive change and innovation

Experience:
