Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Bahrain is seeking a high-integrity Accountant / Jr. Accountant with 3–5 years of experience. The role involves daily bookkeeping, VAT filing, and reconciliation activities. Candidates must have strong confidentiality skills and proficiency with accounting software such as ERP, QuickBooks, or Tally. An excellent command of English is required, and Arabic is a strong advantage. This position is for those currently based in Bahrain and available for immediate interviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience inside Bahrain.
• Proven experience in FMCG, distribution, or trading.
• Preferably have a driving license for internal audits and site checks.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and transaction posting.
• VAT filing and documentation accuracy.
• Costing, GRN, and supplier reconciliation.
• Assisting in monthly closing and reporting.

We are looking for a high-integrity, detail-oriented Accountant to join our FMCG trading division.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong confidentiality, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience in fast-moving trading environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and transaction posting
• VAT filing and documentation accuracy
• Costing, GRN, and supplier reconciliation
• Assisting in monthly closing and reporting

Requirements

• Must be based in Bahrain with full local availability
• Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience inside Bahrain (no overseas experience only)
• Proven experience in FMCG, distribution, or trading
• Strong confidentiality mindset and integrity in handling financial data
• Hands-on with ERP/QuickBooks/Tally
• Excellent English; Arabic is a strong plus
• Preferably driving license for internal audits and site checks
• Available for in-person interview in Bahrain immediately
• Exposure to regional operations
