Plainsight is looking for a recent graduate to explore data, AI, and software on real projects. You’ll learn by doing, work across data engineering, analytics, data science, GenAI, and software, and contribute to multiple projects with coaching from experienced colleagues.

You’ll join a team that values fast learning, ownership, and collaboration. Offices in Ghent and Mechelen with hybrid work and competitive pay are offered.

You just graduated and you're not yet sure whether your thing is data, AI, or software. Good. Neither were most of us on day one. This is the role where you find out, on real projects, with people who've done it before sitting next to you.

What you’ll do

You start on real projects and learn by doing. Your first months mix several weeks of training with hands‑on work and close coaching, so you're never left guessing alone.

We won't box you into one lane from the start. You'll support different kinds of projects and discover where you grow fastest: data engineering, analytics, data science, GenAI, or software. In practice that means:

• Building data pipelines, models, and analytics environments
• Helping create dashboards, reports, and self‑service BI
• Supporting machine learning and AI use cases
• Working on GenAI solutions, automation, and AI‑assisted workflows
• Contributing to custom software, integrations, and platforms
• Turning business questions into things people actually use

What you bring

A master’s degree and a sharp analytical mind. The habit of learning fast and taking ownership. Professional or native Dutch, and solid English. Real curiosity about data, AI, and software, plus a practical streak: you'd rather solve a real problem than admire a new tool.

Python, SQL, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, dbt, TypeScript, modern AI tools: a plus if you've touched any of them, but not a requirement. We hire for learning speed and attitude, and teach the rest.

How we work

We code as agentically as we can. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, whichever tool earns its place that week. You'll pick it up here, because it's how the team ships.

The model or the pipeline is never the point. What matters is whether the people downstream trust the output enough to use it. So we build with adoption in mind, pair with our clients' teams, and show our work.
