WLG in Brussels is seeking a seasoned data-visualization developer to turn multi-source data into clean web applications and dashboards for senior leadership. The role is mostly remote with occasional visits to Brussels, and you will work across Python, ETL tools and front-end frameworks.

You will design, build and deploy dashboards in Python or Power BI, extend data collection tooling, and document architecture while coordinating with stakeholders and staff for knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development using JavaScript and HTML.
• Experience with React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Strong MS SQL experience; .NET is a plus.
• Python for automation, ETL and analysis (pandas, numpy).
• Experience building dashboards for senior stakeholders in Python and/or Power BI.
• Git, Agile practices, and a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data science.
• Excellent English communication.

A data analysis team at an international defence organisation in Brussels needs a developer who can turn data from many sources into clean web applications and dashboards for senior leadership. The work is mostly remote, with a handful of visits to Brussels.
What You Would Be Doing

• Designing, building and deploying web applications and dashboards with modern front-end frameworks
• Bringing data from classified and unclassified sources into those systems, with Python and ETL tooling doing the conversion and preparation
• Extending the team's data collection tools in line with what stakeholders ask for, and testing them with the people who use them
• Building dashboards for leadership in Python or Power BI
• Documenting code, endpoints and architecture, writing training material and handing knowledge over to staff

What you would bring

• At least 5 years of web development in JavaScript and HTML with React, Vue.js or Angular
• Extensive MS SQL experience; .NET is an advantage
• Python for automation, ETL and analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) and experience building backend services or pipelines
• Dashboards built for senior stakeholders in Python and/or Power BI
• Git, Agile ways of working and a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, IT or similar
• Advanced English and clear, confident communication
