Bleckmann België N.V. is seeking an IT Automation Engineer to drive warehouse automation projects, bridging automation suppliers, operations, and internal IT for go-live and ongoing support.

The role requires 5–7 years in IT project management or automation within warehousing. A degree in IT/Software or related field is preferred, with strong collaboration across networking and WMS teams. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Translate warehouse operational needs into functional/technical requirements.
• Work with IT infrastructure, networking, and WMS teams for feasibility and integration.
• Understand APIs and system integrations for automation projects.

Responsabilités

• Gather requirements from warehouse operations for new automation projects (30%).
• Translate requirements into functional specs and system interface definitions with vendors (30%).
• Collaborate with automation suppliers, site operations, and internal IT to plan milestones and issues (40%).
• Participate on-site with LEAP implementation team during rollout; assist with commissioning.
• Stay informed on warehouse automation trends and document lessons learned.
