IMEC in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Assistant to ensure critical materials are received, stored, and delivered on time. You will combine hands-on warehouse work with system registration in SAP/EWM and close collaboration with FAB teams.

You have a bachelor’s degree in warehousing or logistics, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of SAP/EWM; forklift certification and a B driving license are strong assets. English and Dutch skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Experience with inbound flows such as goods receipt, checks, and put-away.
• Experience in a high-tech, production, or cleanroom environment is a plus.
• Experience with SAP/EWM is an advantage, but training can be provided.
• A category B driving license is a strong plus.
• A forklift or stacker certification is required.
• You communicate well in English and have a working knowledge of Dutch.

• Register goods and movements in SAP/EWM so materials can be tracked when needed.
• Compare deliveries with orders and help resolve any differences in a practical way.
• Help make sure the right materials reach FAB operations on time.
• Work closely with FAB teams to understand needs and keep operations running smoothly.
• Provide backup at the Tienen warehouse; Leuven and Tienen are main work locations.
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean, and well organized.
• Share practical ideas to make daily warehouse work safer or more efficient.

Warehouse Logistics Assistant

As a Warehouse Logistics Assistant, you will help make sure critical materials are received, checked, stored, and delivered on time. You combine hands‑on warehouse work with accurate system registration and close teamwork, contributing directly to smooth operations in a safe and structured environment.

What you will do

• Receive, check, label, and store incoming goods, making sure everything is handled correctly from the start.


• Register goods and movements in SAP/EWM so materials can be easily tracked when needed.


• Compare deliveries with orders and help resolve any differences in a practical way.


• Help make sure the right materials reach FAB operations on time.


• Work closely with FAB teams and colleagues to understand what is needed and keep things running smoothly.


• Support the warehouse gate as a backup and be a helpful contact for carriers and couriers.


• Help keep the warehouse safe, clean, and well organized for everyone working there.


• Share practical ideas to make daily warehouse work safer, smoother, or more efficient.


• Provide backup support at the Tienen warehouse when needed. Your main work locations will be Leuven and Tienen.

Who you are
