ITProposal in Dessel, Belgium seeks an Ingenieur Expert Veiligheid to support complex projects in a regulated industrial setting. You will provide specialized safety expertise, coordinate projects, perform risk analyses and contribute to safe, compliant installations and processes.

Responsibilities include leading technical projects, reviewing docs, conducting HAZOP/FMEA/ SWIFT/MOC analyses, and ensuring safety, reliability and maintainability of systems. Fluency in Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience in technical project environments.
• Experience with technical specifications, standards and documentation.
• Experience managing technical projects including planning and budgets.
• Strong experience with risk analysis and technical problem solving.
• Knowledge of HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT and MOC is highly relevant.
• Native or bilingual Dutch proficiency.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.
• Security clearance/authorization is an advantage; candidates should indicate status.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, organize and optimize technical processes, projects and specialist activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and apply relevant lessons learned and best practices.
• Prepare and review technical and operational documentation, studies, specifications and reports.
• Perform or participate in risk analyses and safety assessments (HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT, MOC).
• Develop technical solutions, action plans and improvements.
• Lead and coordinate technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage project planning, budgets, stakeholders and reporting.
• Provide expert technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, reliability, availability and maintainability of installations and processes.
• Review and maintain project, safety, construction, permit and operational documentation.
• Develop and monitor acceptance criteria and technical standards.
• Support procurement and contracting activities with technical specs.
• Maintain and share knowledge on standards and legislation.
