Accent Jobs for People NV in Belgium seeks a skilled carpenter to combine workshop fabrication with on-site installation. You work with solid wood on a range of projects such as carports, oak outbuildings, pool houses, and garden rooms, using modern wood processing techniques and CNC machines.

You should be precise, safety-conscious and able to collaborate with experienced colleagues, while showing a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Woodworking education or relevant joinery/woodworking experience.
• Able to reach Heist-op-den-Berg independently by 6:30 a.m.
• Comfort working with solid wood and various wood processing techniques.
• Willing to learn CNC machining and operate modern machines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare wooden constructions in the workshop and assist installation on site.
• Operate CNC and other woodworking equipment with care and accuracy.
• Collaborate with colleagues on diverse projects like carports, outbuildings, and garden rooms.

As a carpenter, you help build exclusive custom wooden structures. You combine workshop work with installation and work on a variety of projects such as:carports;oak outbuildings;pool houses;horse stables;garden rooms;home extensions;guest accommodations;wooden gates and access doors;windows and other wooden exterior constructions. In concrete terms: You prepare wooden constructions in the workshop. You work with solid wood and various modern wood processing techniques. You operate, among other things, a CNC machine. You help manufacture custom wooden constructions. You go along for installation and assemble the finished constructions on site. You work accurately and have an eye for detail and a quality finish. You work with modern machines, but also use your own expertise and feel for wood. You work both independently and together with experienced colleagues. You regularly work at height.

You do not need to have decades of experience. You do need to have completed a woodworking education or already gained relevant experience as a joiner or woodworker. In addition:You work accurately and have an eye for quality. You are handy and technically minded. You enjoy working with solid wood. You are open to the combination of workshop work and installation. You can or want to learn to work with a CNC machine. You do not have a fear of heights. You are motivated to keep learning. You enjoy working on unique projects. You are punctual and can get to Heist-op-den-Berg independently every day at 6:30 a.m. You enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues. You preferably understand and speak Dutch.Do you not speak Dutch? Then a good knowledge of French and/or English is certainly important to be able to communicate with your colleagues.
