HOGENT is seeking a curious researcher to join the FTILab+ centre, contributing to sustainable textile processes and smart textiles. You will conduct practice-oriented research, analyze results, and help develop new projects within a dynamic university setting in Belgium.

The role includes supervising students, disseminating findings, and collaborating with internal and external partners. The position is full-time on a fixed-term basis starting 3 November 2026 and ending 31 October 2027.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field as specified
• Experience with research methodology is desirable
• Knowledge of textile materials and processes is essential

Responsabilités

• Conduct practice-oriented research in FTILab+ on sustainable textile processes
• Contribute to renewal of educational programmes and knowledge transfer
• Analyse test results and report findings to coordinators
• Organise and participate in dissemination activities for research results
• Supervise students on bachelor theses, internships, or projects
