Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a QA/test engineer to join a cross-functional team working on payment systems. You will define test strategies, design integration and end-to-end tests, and drive automation across the test suite.

You will facilitate Agile ceremonies as a Scrum Master, monitor test quality, and help improve coverage for monolithic and modular applications, while collaborating with business and development teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in testing and quality assurance using Playwright, Cucumber and Postman.
• 1+ year experience in backend development with Java for automated tests.
• 1+ year experience with data and integration tools (SQL and XML).
• Experience with DevOps/CI-CD tools such as Git.
• 1+ year experience in Agile (Scrum) environments and facilitating ceremonies.
• Experience with complex payment or accounting systems is a plus.
• Fluent French with active English and passive Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Define comprehensive test plans and acceptance criteria with business and development teams.
• Design, document, and execute integration and end-to-end tests.
• Automate test execution and oversee automated testing frameworks.
• Monitor and improve test suites for both monolithic and modular apps.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies as Scrum Master and promote quality practices.
• Evaluate bug criticality and coordinate resolution throughout the lifecycle.
