Partner Company in Belgium seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end quality of critical payment flows. You will design API-first test strategies, automate API/UI tests, and collaborate with backend teams to improve testability in a cloud-based environment.

The role emphasizes automation-first quality, with Playwright and RestAssured, and involvement in production debugging and release readiness across global payments platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA engineering, test automation, or a closely related software quality role.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, including HTTP, JSON, and API-driven workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated quality checks.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys and transaction scenarios.
• Design and execute API-first test strategies for REST and complex lifecycles.
• Build and maintain automated API and selective UI test suites using Playwright or RestAssured.
• Develop reusable automation components and test data builders.
• Investigate production incidents, reproduce defects, and assist root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to improve testability and define acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to release quality gates, regression testing strategies, and pre-release validation in CI/CD.
