Sloka IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Belgium. You will help deliver and expand automation backlog, improve testing speed, quality and coverage, and support efficient scope validation with strong Playwright expertise.

You will integrate automated tests with Jira Xray, design maintainable test suites, and work independently in a complex delivery environment while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with delivery

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in test automation or quality engineering.

Responsabilités

• Deliver an existing backlog of automated test cases (~20).
• Design and implement additional automated test cases for WP5 and VAT prep.
• Identify, automate, and maintain regression test scenarios for scope validation.
• Develop and maintain functional, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests with Jira Xray for test management and reporting.
• Improve testing speed, quality, and coverage through automation.
• Apply AI-assisted testing approaches where valuable.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to help deliver and expand a substantial backlog of automated test cases. You will play a key role in improving testing speed, quality, and coverage by building reliable automation, maintaining regression scenarios, and supporting efficient scope validation.

This role requires strong hands-on Playwright expertise, experience integrating automated tests with Jira Xray, and the ability to work independently in a complex delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an existing backlog of approximately 20 identified automated test cases.
• Design and implement additional automated test cases arising during WP5 and in preparation for VAT.
• Identify, automate, and maintain regression test scenarios to support efficient scope validation.
• Develop and maintain functional, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests with Jira Xray for test management, execution tracking, traceability, and reporting.
• Improve testing speed, quality, and coverage through effective automation practices.
• Apply AI-assisted testing approaches where they add practical value.
• Work independently, manage priorities, and drive progress within a complex delivery environment.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with delivery needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in test automation or quality engineering.
