Sloka IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to accelerate our testing backlog and raise quality. The role focuses on building reliable automation, maintaining regression suites, and supporting efficient scope validation in a hybrid Brussels environment.

You will work with Playwright to automate tests, integrate with Jira Xray for test management, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage of delivery needs.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in test automation or quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience using Playwright for test automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests with Jira Xray.
• Strong background in functional, regression, and end-to-end test automation.
• Ability to design maintainable, reliable automated test suites.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver progress in a complex environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Deliver an existing backlog of automated test cases.
• Design and implement additional automated test cases arising during WP5 and in preparation for VAT.
• Identify, automate, and maintain regression test scenarios to support efficient scope validation.
• Develop and maintain functional, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests with Jira Xray for test management, execution tracking, traceability, and reporting.
• Improve testing speed, quality, and coverage through effective automation practices.
• Apply AI-assisted testing approaches where they add practical value.
• Work independently, manage priorities, and drive progress within a complex delivery environment.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with delivery needs.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to help deliver and expand a substantial backlog of automated test cases. You will play a key role in improving testing speed, quality, and coverage by building reliable automation, maintaining regression scenarios, and supporting efficient scope validation.

This role requires strong hands‑on Playwright expertise, experience integrating automated tests with Jira Xray, and the ability to work independently in a complex delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an existing backlog of approximately 20 identified automated test cases.
• Design and implement additional automated test cases arising during WP5 and in preparation for VAT.
• Identify, automate, and maintain regression test scenarios to support efficient scope validation.
• Develop and maintain functional, regression, and end‑to‑end automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests with Jira Xray for test management, execution tracking, traceability, and reporting.
• Improve testing speed, quality, and coverage through effective automation practices.
• Apply AI‑assisted testing approaches where they add practical value.
• Work independently, manage priorities, and drive progress within a complex delivery environment.
