Client Description:
Manpower Professional is the recruitment division within ManpowerGroup. Our specialized consultants focus on technical profiles and vacancies with immediate permanent contracts. Due to our specialization, we can propose suitable roles that match your knowledge, experience, and expectations.
For our client, a national distributor of a leading brand of rolling stock, we are looking for a service technician to maintain and repair electric rolling stock in the Aalter region.
Job Description:
As a service technician, after a thorough training period, you will travel from home to a fixed portfolio of industrial clients to perform periodic maintenance and repairs on forklifts, reach trucks, side loaders, pallet trucks, etc. You will work with electric motors, hydraulic components, transmissions, safety equipment, pumps, sensors, etc. After each intervention, you will complete the work order, and if repairs are not possible, arrange transport to the workshop and a replacement unit if needed.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal service technician has an A2 qualification in automotive technology, electromechanics, industrial electricity, or equivalent experience. You should have some stable work experience as a technician in industrial electricity or automotive technology, with strong knowledge of electricity and hydraulics. Experience with rolling stock is a plus but not required. You are communicative in Dutch, service- and customer-oriented, and have a flexible attitude beyond a standard 9-to-5 schedule. You are also willing to continue training to keep your technical skills up to date.
What Client Offers:
You will have the opportunity to work on high-tech rolling stock from a renowned German brand. Based on your knowledge and experience, you will receive an attractive hourly wage, a service vehicle (commuting to work), expense allowance, meal vouchers, fuel card, laptop, mobile phone, group & hospital insurance.
