Job summary

Movu Robotics is seeking a Sales Engineer at our Lokeren HQ to support regional Sales Managers. You will translate customer needs into value-engineered solutions, validate technical specs, and guide tender execution.

Draft automated intralogistics concepts with AutoCAD for Movu solutions (iFollow, Escala, Atlas 2D, WMS), coordinate design and cost approvals, and assist hand-over to project execution. Fluent English/Dutch is essential; relocation to Lokeren may be required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering.
• Affinity / interest in warehousing software is a nice to have.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Language skills: Fluent communication in English and Dutch. French and other languages are a plus.
• You live in the region of Lokeren, Belgium or are willing to relocate for this position.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing customer needs, data and Requests for Quotation.
• Drafting automated intralogistics solutions to maximize customer value using various tools incl. AutoCAD, for all Movu Robotics solutions including iFollow, Escala, Atlas 2D, racking solutions, Warehouse Execution Software and others.
• Assessing and presenting various concepts to sales and customers
• Estimating the full offered scope’s costs
• Coordinating full validation of the technical design and costs with all relevant stakeholders and experts, leading to formal design and cost approval
• Documenting the full system designs in written offers, including functional descriptions, as input to sales
• Supporting sales in customer interactions and commercial activities
• Managing the storage and version management of tender documents, and preparing the full project kick-off and hand-over to project execution

Job Description

The Sales Engineer is located in our Movu HQ in Lokeren, Belgium and is responsible to support the regional Sales Managers for a smooth execution of the sales activities. He/she drives the offer generation for customer tenders from a technical perspective, by translating customer needs into a value-engineered solution and offer, and by validating technical specifications with all stakeholders and costing the offered scope. He/she assists in the realization of the set targets as part of the sales organization.
