Cartamundi zoekt een Technical Project Manager om complexe technologische innovaties en automatisering te leiden binnen een internationaal productie-ecosysteem. Turnhout en Dallas vormen belangrijke locaties; samenwerking met engineering, operations en IT is cruciaal.

Je rapporteert aan de VP Industrial Technology en houdt toezicht op budgetten, planning en risico’s. Relevante ervaring, sterke communicatie en een hands-on, resultaatgerichte mindset zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• Mastergraad in Engineering of gelijkwaardig.
• 5–10 jaar relevante PM-ervaring in een industriële/innovatieve omgeving.
• Ervaring met multi-site/international projecten.
• Technische affiniteit met automatisering en productietechnologie.
• Goede Engelse taalvaardigheid; extra talen een plus.
• Bereid tot internationaal reizen tot 50%.

Responsabilités

• Leid en beheer complexe technologische innovatie- en automatiseringsprojecten end-to-end.
• Beheer CAPEX-projecten incl. installatie, commissioning en ramp-up.
• Coördineer internationale, cross-functionele teams en externe leveranciers.
• HandhaafIndustrial Technology-standaarden en standaardisatie van oplossingen.
• Fungeer als SPOC tussen lokale plants en centrale Industrial Technology.
• Zorg voor naleving van veiligheid, kwaliteit en regelgeving; draag bij aan continue verbetering.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Fully lead and manage complex technology innovation and automation projects end to end, holding overall responsibility for scope, planning, budget, and risk management.
• Direct and deliver industrial capital investment projects (CAPEX), including the installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new machines, equipment, and processes at our sites.
• Coordinate international, cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, IT) and external suppliers to ensure flawless project execution.
• Safeguard global Industrial Technology standards and actively drive the standardization and replication of innovative solutions across multiple sites.
• Act as the central Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and the connecting link between local plant teams and the central Industrial Technology function, including clear reporting to management and the VP Industrial Technology.
• Monitor strict compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (such as Lean, OEE improvement, and cost efficiency).

What You Bring

• A Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electromechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering), Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent through experience.
• Between 5 and 10 years of relevant project management experience in an industrial, innovative, or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience managing multi-site or international projects.
• In-depth technical affinity and knowledge of innovation, automation, and manufacturing technologies, combined with experience in supplier coordination and CAPEX projects.
• Familiarity with Lean and Operational Excellence methodologies to maximize efficiency, OEE, and return on investment (ROI) on projects.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills combined with a mature, results driven, strategic, and hands on mindset.
• A true networker with excellent communication and influencing skills within an international matrix organization and diverse cultures.
• Excellent command of English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
