Amaris Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead MV/HV protection and control project delivery from presales through commissioning. You will be the primary technical contact, translating complex topics into practical solutions for utilities, industry, power plants and data centers.

You will define architectures, coordinate internal experts, assess technical risks, and ensure design-to-testing alignment while guiding CAD teams and engineering documentation to meet project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of MV/HV Protection & Control experience.
• Knowledge of communication protocols used in substation automation.
• Ability to prepare and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to strengthen our team. In this role, you will be the technical lead for medium- and high-voltage electrification projects, from presales and solution design to engineering, commissioning and after-sales support.

You will work on projects for utilities, industries, power plants and data centers, contributing to the modernization and protection of critical electrical networks and supporting the energy transition.

Your Role:

• You will work closely with Project Managers, Sales, internal technical experts and commissioning teams.
• You are responsible for the technical definition, engineering and successful delivery of the solution.
• You are the main technical contact for the customer and can translate complex technical topics into clear, practical solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Define technical architectures and translate customer requirements into appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate internal experts when specialized knowledge is needed.
• Support Project Managers in technical risk assessment and decisions.
• Ensure alignment between design, implementation, testing and commissioning.
• Analyze customer specifications and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Lead technical meetings with customers and internal experts.
• Present and explain technical concepts in a clear way.
• Be the primary technical interface with the customer.
• Perform functional analysis, system design and engineering.
• Prepare engineering documentation and drawing packages with CAD designers.
• Guide and review CAD work to ensure compliance with project and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency and project execution.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of experience in MV/HV Protection & Control systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols used in substation automation.
• Good understanding of:
  • MV/HV networks and switchgear
  • Protection systems
• Ability to prepare and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English mandatory and French is nice to have.
