SGS Belgium NV, located in Moeskroen, is expanding its team and seeking a Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will act as a technical pivot between customers and the plant, analyzing specifications, performing designs using CAD, and providing support to OEM clients. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Plastics Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in injection and tool design, along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This position offers the opportunity to manage large-scale projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in injection and tool design.
• Solid knowledge of industrial design and reading technical plans.
• Perfect command of English; French and Dutch are major assets.

Function

As part of the expansion of their business and to meet the growing demands of their OEM customers, Feronyl is creating the new position of Technical Project Manager.

Acting as a technical pivot between customers and the plant, you will directly report to COO.

Your role consists in the following responsibilities:

• Analyze customer specifications, propose and validate innovative designs and tooling concepts.
• Perform the technical design of parts and tooling using 2D and 3D CAD tools.
• Select the optimal raw materials, especially for complex polymers and metals.
• Provide technical support to major OEM customers from the upstream phase of projects to optimize the design.
• Prepare complete quotation files and solicit quotes from suppliers.
• Develop technical documentation (methods and operating procedures) and provide technical support directly in the workshop.
• Ensure the management and integrity of technical data and revisions within the ERP system.
• Manage a team of 3 people, composed of two expert project engineers and a researcher.
• Establish rigor and structure in the R&D department in order to improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a trusted referent and "team leader" to validate technical decisions and support the development of employees' skills.

Profile

• You are an Industrial Engineer in Plastics Engineering or hold a degree in plastics processing.
• You have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in the injection and tool design sector.
• You have a solid knowledge of industrial design (2D and 3D) as well as an excellent reading of technical plans.
• The management of complex computer files (references, plan revisions, technical documentation) and the use of an ERP system hold no secrets for you.
• Recognized for your interpersonal skills, you know how to unite a team and establish a relationship of trust with customers.
• You are a technical competitor who is always looking to do better than the competition. For you, the detail makes the difference.
• With a logical mind and a hands‑on approach, you structure your activities and those of your team independently while demonstrating real leadership skills.
• A perfect command of English is imperative. The French and Dutch are major assets for working with all our partners.
