Job summary

The Technical Operator at Gea Group supports the daily operations of the GPSC test facilities in Wommelgem, Belgium. The role ensures equipment, utilities, materials and work areas are prepared for customer trials, demonstrations and internal activities.

The position works with Process Specialists, Test Center Technicians and Cleaning Operators, handling logistics, housekeeping and stock management to keep the test center efficient, safe and professional on site in Halle.

Qualifications

• Technical education or relevant practical experience.
• Hands-on mentality and strong work ethic.
• Experience in an industrial, logistics, warehouse or production environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
• Dutch language skills and basic English.

Job description

The Technical Operator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the GEA Pharma Solids Center (GPSC) test facilities. The role ensures that equipment, utilities, materials and work areas are prepared and maintained for customer trials, demonstrations and internal activities.

The position supports Process Specialists, Test Center Technicians and Cleaning Operators by carrying out operational, logistics and housekeeping activities that ensure the test center runs efficiently, safely and professionally.

The official place of deployment is Wommelgem, Belgium. The successful candidate is expected to work regularly at the Halle Test Center

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Willingness to work regularly in Halle (50-60%) during the coming years.
