Alteo Recruitment is assisting a confidential client in Flemish Brabant to recruit a Technical Manager Electricity. You will be the technical authority behind electrical inspection activities and lead a team of about 15 inspectors, ensuring high standards and compliance.

The role offers a permanent contract, strong autonomy, a seat in the management team, ongoing technical training, and a competitive package including a company car, smartphone and group insurance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering (industrial or civil) or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in industry or inspection/certification bodies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations (Belgian RGIE/AREI); ATEX knowledge is a plus.

• Act as the technical authority for electrical inspection activities (HV/LV, ATEX zones, fire detection).
• Lead a team of inspectors and assume increasing technical accountability for the department.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and translate needs into high-quality service delivery.

Technical Manager Electricity - Confidential search (Flemish Brabant)

For one of our clients, an independent technical inspection and certification company, Alteo Recruitment is looking for a Technical Manager Electricity. The client's name is shared during our first confidential conversation.

You are the technical authority behind the electrical inspection activity: high and low voltage installations, ATEX zones and fire detection systems. You lead a team of around 15 inspectors, and you gradually take over full technical accountability for the department. You also advise clients on regulatory compliance and translate their needs into high-quality service delivery.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree in electrical engineering (industrial or civil), or an equivalent technical background
• Experience in industry or within an inspection / certification body
• Solid knowledge of electrical safety regulations, in particular the Belgian RGIE/AREI; fire safety and ATEX knowledge is a strong asset
• Leadership skills combined with a hands-on, client-oriented mindset
• Dutch is required for this position: you speak Dutch fluently, in combination with French (English is an asset)
