Vivid Resourcing's client in Belgium is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to oversee technical operations, improve equipment reliability, and drive the site's long-term strategy. You will lead a team of technical professionals and coordinate with production, quality and HSE.

The role requires a technical degree, 5+ years in a manufacturing leadership role, strong problem-solving and stakeholder management, and fluency in Dutch and English (French a bonus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance, engineering, or technical leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the site's maintenance and technical teams.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability.
• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance activities and cost-efficient resource allocation.
• Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Support continuous improvement projects to boost productivity, reliability, and safety.
• Coordinate technical activities across departments and align priorities.
• Collaborate with Health, Safety and Environmental teams to maintain standards.
• Prepare business cases for equipment upgrades and manage budgets.
• Report on technical performance and project progress to senior management.
