Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Technical Lead & Product Owner for IoT/OT solutions in Brussels to oversee industrial monitoring platforms from requirements to production. You will lead technical development and product ownership, manage backlogs, and drive project schedules in a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities include maintaining the product backlog, supporting IoT platforms, and coordinating with stakeholders for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years as Technical Lead and Product Owner for IoT solutions with Agile backlog management.
• 5+ years Linux administration in Debian/Red Hat with security hardening.
• 5+ years of virtualization and container orchestration (VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
• 5+ years scripting/automation (Bash, Python).
• 2+ years monitoring/observability (Zabbix, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana).
• 2+ years networking and information security (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalling).
• 2+ years IoT platforms and wireless tech (ThingsBoard, MQTT, COAP, LoRaWAN, SCADA).
• 2+ years software development/DevOps with Golang, JavaScript, Ansible.

Our client, a leading organization in the transport infrastructure sector, is seeking a Technical Lead & Product Owner for IoT and OT solutions. This role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of industrial monitoring platforms, from initial requirement analysis to production maintenance. The project focuses on integrating sensors, gateways, and data visualization tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and product ownership of industrial IoT solutions.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead and Product Owner for IoT solutions, including Agile backlog management and requirement analysis.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration with Debian and Red Hat, including installation and security hardening.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in virtualization and container orchestration using VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• You have 5+ years of experience in scripting and automation with Bash and Python.
• You possess 2+ years of experience in monitoring and observability using Zabbix, Prometheus, InfluxDB, and Grafana.
• You have 2+ years of experience in networking and information security, including TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, and firewalling.
• You bring 2+ years of experience with IoT platforms and wireless technologies including ThingsBoard, MQTT, COAP, LoRaWAN, and SCADA.
• You possess 2+ years of experience in software development and DevOps using Golang, JavaScript, and Ansible.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a professional working knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of OT/IIoT cybersecurity and compliance standards such as IEC 62443 and NIS2.
