USG Professionals zoekt een Lead Mechanical & Piping Project Engineer die technische verantwoordelijkheid neemt over investerings- en verbeterprojecten op een hoogtechnologische industriële site in België. Je blijft technisch betrokken, stuurt engineeringpartners aan en zorgt voor veilige, betrouwbare en uitvoerbare installaties.

Je fungeert als technisch_SECRET rechterhand van de Project Manager en coördineert Mechanical & Piping, Process, E&I, Automation, Civil, Safety en Infrastructure

Qualifications

• Lead Mechanical & Piping project engineer with technical ownership of CAPEX projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering across Mechanical, Piping, Process, E&I, Automation, Civil, Safety, Infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, reliability, maintainability, constructability and cost considerations.
• Handle M&P concepts, layouts, P&ID's, equipment specs, piping routes and isometrics.
• Manage EPCm partners, suppliers and contractors.
• Identify technical risks and assess impact of changes on scope, timing, budget and execution.
• Involve from concept to construction, commissioning and handover.
• Support technical specifications, tenders and supplier selection.
• Participate in fabrication, inspections, FAT, installation, SAT and punchlists where relevant.

Responsabilités

• Oversee CAPEX projects on a multi-discipline site.
• Lead technical reviews and ensure alignment with safety and reliability goals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, EPCm partners and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with design philosophies and project requirements.
• Provide technical reporting to stakeholders.
