A global engineering solutions provider in Belgium is seeking a Technical Expert for Offshore Systems to provide specialized support for their offshore ships. This role involves developing maintenance strategies, preparing work orders, and collaborating with external partners. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, familiarity with the Ivalua platform, and relevant certifications. Candidates will work on ensuring optimal system performance and enhancing the operational capabilities of advanced offshore equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS procurement solutions is required.
  • Mandatory: Ivalua L3 SQL certification.
  • Ability to manage integrations using APIs.

As a Technical Expert, you will be responsible for providing specialized technical support for our offshore ships, focusing on our fixed cranes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring that all technical systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standard. This role involves creating and preparing work orders, developing maintenance plans, and collaborating with external suppliers and service providers to ensure knowledge exchange and optimal system performance.

As Payroll Officer in our Payroll Department for Maritime Crew, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration for our colleagues working on dredging and offshore projects. In this role, you combine administrative precision with service‑oriented support, contributing to the wellbeing of our 550 seafarers.

As a Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works on site. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues.
We are currently looking for an experienced Works Manager who can manage (large) offshore installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.

As a Technical Expert for Offshore Systems, you will join our Technical Engineering team, which is part of the Fleet Organization at DEME. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the advanced systems that keep our vessels at the forefront of innovation. These systems include not only our offshore cranes but also cable lay systems, jacking systems, and monopile installation systems, each critical to delivering extraordinary projects worldwide.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, combining your technical expertise with a spirit of innovation. You will develop and implement maintenance strategies, prepare work orders, and oversee knowledge exchange with suppliers to guarantee optimal system and mission equipment performance.

You will develop data models, workflows, and integrations while ensuring smooth implementation and system performance. As the technical SME, you will troubleshoot issues, provide guidance on best practices, and deliver training to stakeholders. The position includes managing integrations using APIs and SQL, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance platform capabilities. Candidates should have strong technical skills, experience with SaaS procurement solutions, excellent communication, and problem‑solving abilities. Ivalua L3 SQL certification is mandatory, with L3 Integration certification as an added advantage.
