Creneau International in Hasselt seeks a BIM-savvy interior designer to translate concepts into buildable BIM-ready designs using Vectorworks, aligning with the creative brief and site realities.

You will coordinate with the Creative Director, design team, production and external partners, ensuring the design intent is preserved through to construction, while maintaining quality on site and across disciplines.

We are a creative agency in space and identity. Identity is the source, space is where it becomes real.

Most spatial work underestimates the people who walk into it. We don't. Every brand has its own voice, slightly off the obvious, and our job is to find it and make it physical. Concept comes before taste, always. And once the concept is right, the craft has to be flawless, because a good idea badly built is still a bad room.

We work out of Hasselt, Eindhoven, Brussels and Dubai. We design and we build, which means nothing stays theoretical here.

About the role

You take a finished concept and make it real, without losing what made it good.

At Creneau, a project moves from concept to build. The concept lands with emotion and ambition. Then someone has to translate it into something buildable, technically sound, ready for architects, contractors and our own production. That someone is you.

You're not the dreamer at the start, and you're not the drafter who just draws what they're told. You sit in between, and that's the hardest and most important spot in the whole process. You understand the design intent, you protect it, and you turn it into a BIM-ready package that a contractor can actually work from. When you're done, the idea survived the translation.

You work in Vectorworks. You know how a concept becomes a plan, a section, a detail. You follow it through to the site. And you're independent enough that the design doesn't need a separate drafter behind you to make it real.

What you'll do

• Take an approved concept and develop it into a buildable, BIM-ready design.
• Translate design intent into technical drawings without flattening the creative idea.
• Work in Vectorworks, from plan and section to detail.
• Follow the project through development and onto the site.
• Coordinate with the Creative Director, the design team, production and external partners.
• Keep the technical side sound so nothing gets lost between design and build.

What you bring

Required

• A background that is both creative and technical. You can design, and you can make it buildable.
• Strong command of Vectorworks, and comfort with BIM.
• Experience taking interior projects from concept to execution.
• You can hold quality on site, not just on screen.
• Strong communication in Dutch and English.
• Independent, hands-on, and a team player.
• Enscape, V-Ray, D5 or similar for visualisation.
• Experience with hospitality, retail or identity-driven interiors.
• An eye that was trained in a studio where the design bar was high.
