We ARE Renewables in Antwerp is seeking a proactive procurement specialist to manage the full purchasing process for vessel parts, combining fixed purchasing rules with proactive sourcing.

You will negotiate prices with Dutch- and English-speaking suppliers, support sales as needed, and collaborate across services to bring projects to a successful finish; on-site five days a week. A maritime background helps, and Office 365 proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• You have a strong affinity with technology, either from experience or from a relevant study.
• Negotiating does not scare you and you can secure favorable terms.
• Proficiency with Office 365 for daily procurement tasks.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with international suppliers is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Procure parts for vessel repairs using fixed purchasing processes and search for products via other channels.
• Occasionally resell products directly to customers.
• Call suppliers in Dutch and English.
• Negotiate the best price and conditions.
• Collaborate with other services within EDR to deliver projects successfully.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the entire procurement process. A very dynamic job with a lot of variety!

Responsibilities:

• You buy parts that are used for repairing the vessels; You do this on the basis of fixed purchasing processes, but you also search for the right products through other channels
• Selling is also part of it; Sometimes the products are resold directly to the customer
• You call suppliers, both in Dutch and in English
• You negotiate to obtain the best price and the best conditions
• You will work closely with other services within EDR to bring all projects to a successful conclusion

Requirements:

• You have a strong affinity with technology, either from experience or from a relevant study
• Are you someone who has done installations yourself? That's definitely a big plus!
• Negotiating does not scare you
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English
• You are comfortable working from the office five days a week, from 8 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. (no teleworking)
• You are flexible when certain deadlines need to be met (e.g. in terms of working hours & occasional weekend work)
• It goes without saying that you are a team player and you have the necessary commercial flair
• You can work smoothly and accurately with Office 365
• Experience in the maritime world is a plus
