ITHR Group plc is seeking a Technical Application / Service Lead in Zaventem to own R&D and engineering application platforms through their lifecycle. You will provide technical leadership, platform strategy, and roadmaps while collaborating with stakeholders, engineering teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities include managing Windows/Linux applications, deployments, migrations, DR activities, and ALM platforms (PTC).

Qualifications

• 6–10 years' experience in application management, technical service ownership, platform operations, or infrastructure leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, application hosting, cloud platforms, and container technologies.
• Experience managing application upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery, and vendor relationships.
• Proven stakeholder management, project delivery, and product ownership experience.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering and R&D applications across Windows and Linux environments.
• Lead application deployment, upgrades, migrations, patching, disaster recovery activities, and ongoing operational support.
• Design and plan infrastructure solutions that support business and application requirements.
• Administer and maintain licence management platforms, including renewals, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.
• Support and manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platforms, including PTC-based solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and BAU support to engineering and R&D users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, enhancements, and service improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of cloud and container technologies, including AWS ECS and related infrastructure platforms.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into user stories and backlog items using tools such as Jira.
• Prioritise demand, manage delivery plans, and ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor service performance, analyse trends, and drive continual improvement initiatives.
• Manage suppliers, service partners, purchase orders, and contractual commitments.
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX budgets, forecasting, and cost optimisation activities.

Technical Application / Service Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Application / Service Lead to take ownership of business-critical R&D and engineering application platforms throughout their lifecycle. This role combines technical leadership, platform management, product ownership, supplier governance, project delivery, and financial accountability to ensure applications remain secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

The successful candidate will act as the primary owner for application services, driving platform strategy, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and roadmap delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and external vendors.
