D’Ieteren Erps-Kwerps zoekt een ervaren Technical Application Manager. Je beheert een portfolio van klant-, dealer- en fleetgerichte digitale applicaties en coördineert technische onderwerpen in samenwerking met business, Product Owners en externe partijen.

Qualifications

• Minimaal vijf jaar ervaring in applicatiemanagement, project- of service delivery.
• Ervaring met digitale platforms, klantportals of SaaS-oplossingen.
• Goede kennis van API’s, integraties, middleware en cloudplatforms zoals Microsoft Azure.
• In staat businessbehoeften te vertalen naar technologische oplossingen en leveranciers terstond te challengen.
• Begrip van applicatie lifecycle management, IT-service management, security en compliance.
• Proactief, gestructureerd en zelfstandig met sterk ownership-gevoel.

Responsabilités

• Beheer van de volledige lifecycle van de portfolio applicaties.
• Definiëren en onderhouden van de technische roadmap.
• Zorgdragen voor stabiliteit, beschikbaarheid, performance, security en compliance van applicaties.
• Toezicht op API’s, integraties en middlewarediensten.
• Beoordelen van technische impact, risico’s en afhankelijkheden van nieuwe initiatieven.
• Coördineren van projecten, testen, releases en wijzigingen.
• Sturing geven aan SaaS-providers en externe leveranciers.
• Monitoren van service levels, incidenten, KPI’s en leveranciersprestaties.
• Ondersteunen IAM, PAM en third‑party risk management processen.
• Bijhouden van duidelijke en up-to-date documentatie.

Volkswagen D’Ieteren Finance is the Belgian market leader in financing and mobility services for the vehicle brands of the D’Ieteren Group.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Application Manager to manage and further develop a portfolio of customer-, dealer- and fleet-facing digital applications.

What Will Your Role Involve?

You will be responsible for websites, digital portals, pricing and calculation solutions, SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations and middleware components.

Acting as the link between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, internal IT teams and external partners, you will ensure that the applications meet business needs and remain stable, secure, compliant and future-ready.

This is a technical coordination and steering role. You will not develop applications yourself, but you will need a solid IT background to understand technical topics, assess risks, challenge suppliers and translate business requirements into sustainable solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full lifecycle of the applications in your portfolio.
• Defining and maintaining the technical roadmap in line with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
• Ensuring application stability, availability, performance, security and compliance.
• Overseeing APIs, integrations and middleware services.
• Assessing the technical impact, risks and dependencies of new initiatives.
• Coordinating projects, testing, releases and application changes.
• Steering SaaS providers, implementation partners and other external suppliers.
• Monitoring service levels, incidents, KPIs and supplier performance.
• Supporting IAM, PAM and third‑party risk‑management processes.
• Maintaining clear and up-to-date application documentation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance, simplify processes and optimise costs.

Profiel

Does This Profile Match You?

• You have at least five years of relevant experience in application management, technical project management, service delivery or technical product management.
• You have worked with digital platforms, customer portals, SaaS solutions or other business‑critical applications.
• You have a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, middleware and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• You can translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions and confidently challenge external service providers.
• You understand application lifecycle management, IT service management, security and compliance requirements.
• You are proactive, structured and highly organised, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.

Experience in automotive finance, leasing, fleet management, banking, insurance or another regulated environment is an advantage. You are fluent in English and have a professional level of Dutch or French; knowledge of all three languages is a plus.
