Verhaert On-Site Consulting is seeking an R&D Tech Lead Systems Development to coordinate automated storage solutions across multiple engineering domains. You will own system-level concepts, drive architecture decisions, and serve as the main technical referent for the system platform.

You will lead cross-functional teams, guide secure development practices, and help build the roadmap in collaboration with Product Managers while ensuring timely feature delivery and alignment with budget

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in automation, mechatronics, or computer engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience in automation or complex system environments.
• English fluency in writing and speaking.
• Strong collaboration in multidisciplinary teams with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Based in Belgium with a valid work permit.

Responsabilités

• Set technical direction for system development and architecture across domains.
• Plan and coordinate cross-functional execution to meet product development timelines.
• Oversee formal system validation and ensure documentation and reviews are completed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Partner with Product Managers to build and execute an R&D roadmap for the product line.
• Act as the primary technical contact for neighboring departments and stakeholders.
