Dataroots, a Talan company, is seeking an AI Engineering leader to guide a team of AI engineers and shape our AI practice. Join us to lead from experience on client projects and grow the practice while balancing delivery and people development.

You will contribute to business development, onboard new team members, and ensure high-quality, production-ready AI solutions across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering AI solutions in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and SQL.
• Experience building production‑ready machine learning and Generative AI systems.
• Solid understanding of modern GenAI, retrieval systems, Agentic AI, MLOps and LLMOps.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, business‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

The Job

What we’re looking for

AI Engineering

• A deep passion for Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
• 5+ years of experience delivering AI solutions in consulting or client-facing environments.
