Deloitte Belgium is looking for a Tax Transformation Manager/Director to lead client engagements in transforming tax functions through smarter processes, digital tools, and data-driven insights. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from strategy to implementation in a dynamic consulting environment.

You bring in-house tax experience, a passion for change, and fluency in English plus Dutch or French; you will help clients adopt new ways of working, drive automation, and deliver measurable value

• Support clients in transforming their tax operations, focusing on process improvement, technology adoption, and operating model design.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to align tax with broader business transformation initiatives.
• Assess existing tax processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, or standardisation.
• Help implement tax technology tools (ERP, data management, reporting, compliance, analytics).
• Guide clients through change management and adoption of new ways of working.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in tax technology, regulation, and digital transformation.

We’re looking for a Tax Transformation Manager/Director to join our Tax & Transformation team, a dynamic group helping leading organisations reinvent their tax functions through smarter processes, digital tools, and data-driven insights.

As part of our Tax Transformation team, you’ll help clients rethink and redesign how their tax functions operate, from strategy to process to technology. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver transformational projects that drive efficiency, transparency, and value.

You’ll bring your practical in-house tax experience, your curiosity for technology, and your ability to connect the dots between people, processes, and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients in transforming their tax operations, focusing on process improvement, technology adoption, and operating model design.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to align tax with broader business transformation initiatives.
• Assess existing tax processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, or standardisation.

• Solid work experience in an in-house tax function, ideally within a multinational or complex corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of tax processes, compliance, and reporting cycles.
• A passion for innovation and transformation, you get energy from improving how things work.
• Curious about technology and open to learning about tax automation, data, and digital tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge tax, finance, and IT perspectives.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French (knowledge of all three is an advantage).
