Engibex, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Systems Project Engineer to act as the technical and organizational focal point for transmission system level programs. You will ensure deliverables are defined, tracked, and completed according to milestones, while coordinating across software, hardware, mechanical design, testing, and validation teams.

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• Interest in automotive systems, especially powertrain or transmission.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to handle complex systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to focus on multiple topics.
• Strong communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced experts.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Own transmission system-level deliverables aligned with program timing and milestones.
• Follow up actions, risks, and engineering dependencies across the project.
• Coordinate activities between software, mechanical design, testing, validation, and quality.
• Perform technical deep dives and lead issue investigations via 8D process with action follow-up.
• Prepare and maintain project overviews, action lists, and technical status summaries.
• Organize technical meetings and ensure action closure with stakeholders.
• Escalate technical concerns or project blockers through appropriate channels.
• Contribute to system documentation, reviews, and engineering release prep.
• Perform transmission requirement decompositions.
• Support transmission validation engineering with verification planning.
• Develop ownership of technical coordination topics over time.
