Expleo Group in Belgium is seeking a motivated System Integration Engineer to join our automotive engineering teams. You will coordinate and manage subsystem integration across mechanical, electronics and software, define system requirements, and drive risk assessments and integration planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Master degree in Engineering, at least 3 years in automotive system integration, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and good English.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in System integration within automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electronics and software.
• Knowledge of system engineering tools (requirement management tool).
• Good level of English.
• Team player, pro-active and result-driven.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• Customer oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage the integration of subsystems (mechanical, electronic, and software) into complete transmission solutions for different development and production phases.
• Ensure compatibility of subsystems in system configurations and product lifecycle.
• Define and manage system-level requirements and interface specifications.
• Define high level technical overview of each transmission configuration and subsystem maturity.
• Lead integration planning, timelines, and risk assessments and ensure alignment with testing departments for integration planning.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Document and communicate integration status, issues, and resolutions.
• Release (internal and external) technical product documentation linked to a transmission configuration (system parameters, customer documentation, CTF list, …)
