NATO in Brussels seeks a System Engineer for the BIGES PEM/EEA divisions to support integration, testing and validation of software within the BIGES enterprise. You will coordinate with IES, OSS and ISR Cell staff to ensure secure, interoperable ICT services across NATO environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline and at least three years in agile software development, integration and testing, with knowledge of DevSecOps, networking, XMPP and web-based

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT/CS.
3+ years in agile software development, integration and testing.
Knowledge of agile methods, DevSecOps, networking concepts and software maintenance.
Knowledge of XMPP-based and web-based applications.
Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Experience with OO analysis, design and development.
Experience with Java/JavaScript and scripting.
Experience with Windows, Linux/UNIX and virtualization (VMware).
Advanced English proficiency (Level V).

Responsabilités

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software integration, testing and validation practices.
Prepare, update and store integration artefacts and documentation.
Ensure controlled management of integration information and lifecycle data.
Apply standardised procedures to improve integration efficiency and security.
Plan, execute and coordinate integration, testing and transition activities.
Support project delivery with risks, impacts and dependencies input.
Coordinate with PEM, IES, ISR Cell, NCIA and national partners for service integrity.
