Optimile, a leader in the European EV charging ecosystem, is seeking an Ops Engineer to join the DevOps-enabled team. Based in Ghent with a hybrid work model, you’ll bridge engineering, operations and product to improve reliability and security.

You will investigate incidents, build tools for diagnosis, and help Support and Engineering resolve issues faster. Strong Python and AWS skills are preferred, with an eye for scalable observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in English; Dutch is a bonus.
• Strong Python skills and observability tooling experience.
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, S3, ElastiCache, IAM).
• Familiarity with security vulnerability triage and CVEs.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable steps.

Responsabilités

• Design and improve monitoring, logging and alerting across the platform.
• Build Grafana dashboards, alert rules and SLO tracking.
• Investigate recurring incidents and root causes and drive resolution.
• Create runbooks for operational knowledge sharing.
• Assess security findings and translate into prioritized recommendations.
• Implement secrets management and least-privilege access across environments.
• Develop internal tools and diagnostics to help Support resolve issues.
