Médiane Benelux is seeking a System Engineer – Efficiency & Mission Profile to drive transmission-level performance and energy efficiency in real-world driving conditions. You will link vehicle-level requirements to transmission design, collaborating with hardware, controls, calibration, and validation teams.

Lead mission profiles, conduct energy flow analyses, and support design trades for efficient, drivable transmissions across markets and drive cycles.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission system development, ideally with focus on efficiency or testing.
• Strong data-driven mindset and analytical approach.

• Define, maintain, and verify system-level requirements related to transmission efficiency and performance across vehicle segments, markets, and drive cycles.
• Develop mission profiles representing real-world usage (standardized and customer-specific duty cycles).

To strengthen the system engineering team, we are looking for a System Engineer – Efficiency & Mission Profile to drive transmission-level performance and energy efficiency across real-world driving conditions.

Your Role

As a System Engineer, you will act as the link between vehicle-level requirements and transmission subsystem design. Your mission is to define, analyze, and optimize transmission behavior with a focus on energy efficiency, drivability, and mission-based performance. You will work closely with system architects, hardware, controls, calibration, and validation teams, contributing directly to current and next-generation hybrid transmission platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience with simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, or equivalent)
• Experience in data acquisition and analysis
• Solid understanding of transmission architectures, loss mechanisms, and energy flow analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and system-level thinking
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary, international teams
• Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., Polarion)
